Part 2: Sewing for My Sister

Here are some of Debby's latest creations

I wanted to share with you.

Sewing for My Sister Debby

All the American Girl doll clothing I will be

adding to this specific post {through Christmas}
will be going to my sister Debby.
She is busy sewing doll clothes for 4 little girls named Abby, Anna, Claire & Kate.

... The Plan ...
To divide all the clothing into four piles, wrap everything up, and then give to the girl's grandmothers {who Debby works with}.  These young ladies are going to love their surprise.

It's A Snoopy & Charlie Brown Christmas Dress
All the items in this post are being donated to
WESTIE RESCUE OF TENNESSEE
to help in their holiday fund-raising activities.

Matching purse & bandanna were made with leftover fabric.

It's Snoopy Playing in the Leaves Dress. 
Look closely at the hem & you'll see it's done in a decorative stitch.

Holiday Theme Bandannas 

Bow-ties
Something new I'm making with leftover fabric.
The Bow-ties are stitched at the middle fold & held together by a tiny rubber band, then the ribbon is added for a perfect fit around the neck.

What I'm Working On Now: Post Molly

 I had just enough Christmas Dogs fabric left over to make a short dress with matching purse.

 To the purse I added a sparkle felt westie and

then added the button NOEL with bow.

This may go to a rescue group as a fund raising item. 

 I made this nightgown & robe for a friend to give

to her niece who likes cheer leading.

Just a wee bit more fabric to add to my collection.

This container is holding all the clothing except for the dresses.  There's not one spec of room left so now I'm on a mission to find something cute to put the dresses in

all the other things I will be receiving later this week.

This entire project (in a way) reminds me of fostering a westie rescue.  You know one day they will leave for their forever home ... as such is the case with Molly and her fashion portfolio ... so I'll just say that parting is such sweet sorry.
